“Your work is concerning matters of the heart” - Ricardo A. Bracho
Artist Statement:
I want my art to feel like having a conversation with a close friend on the couch: eye to eye, heart to heart. Removing the barriers that separate us from art, our bodies, our environment. I draw inspiration from nature, vivid dreams, deep desires, platonic love, nostalgia, media, and queer theory. When encountering my art, I hope you can be in your body, your heart, to connect with desire, longing, fear, wonder, pleasure, and play in a way that reminds you just how alive you are.
